You don’t need to escape your personality.
You just need to stop mistaking it for your home.

When you stumble across the notion that you might just be more than your personality and ego, the search for a new home can begin. Often, the Enneagram model can be beneficial because it offers a way to bridge the distance between personality and what is referred to as the Essential Self.
